Mr. Cerrato currently serves as the Vice President of Product Marketing for WeCare Denali where he oversees all of the company’s Product Sales and Marketing related activities and staff, and manages a large portfolio of customers. Mr. Cerrato started with Denali as a Director and was responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans, sales plans, and overall business development related activities as it pertains to WeCare branded products, including WeCare Compost, WeCare Roofmix, and WeCare Engineered Soils.
WeCare Denali Welcomes Rod Tyler
Please join us in welcoming Rod Tyler to the WeCare Denali team as Midwest Regional Manager for the Facilities Group. Rod will work closely with our teams in Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois.
Rod has 30 years of composting industry experience mostly in the sales and marketing of finished products. He started operating small compost sites, marketing the finished products, and he was instrumental in developing the colored mulch business in the United States. Rod also invented the Compost Filter Sock technology, GardenSoxx®, and he holds eight patents for similar compost filtration. He was the owner and president of Green Horizons Environmental, a consulting company. Rod graduated from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Professional Agronomist.
In his previous roles, Rod was the founder and owner of Filtrexx International, author of three books, author of several chapters in other books, hundreds of industry articles, and research papers. He has been involved with the US Composting Council since the first meeting serving on the Marketing Committee, Vice President, President, and Board of Directors for many years.

Rod enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Marty, seven children, and four grandchildren. As a family, they golf, have game nights, travel, and enjoy the outdoors.
